Erin Rusler is an American Yogini born into the Rudrananda Ashram in Indiana (Yes. Indiana!). This lineage has roots in the Siddha Yoga traditions through the Bhagavan Nityananda of Ganeshpuri, Tibetan Buddhism, and Kashmir Saivism (Trika).
Taking these philosophies and spiritual traditions along with extensive experience and western asana practices, Erin is dedicated to this healing, spiritual path. Yoga has taken her around the globe, with many amazing teachers, training styles, methods, techniques, and certifications that allow her to help you find ease and comfort in poses, correct posture and positioning, and improve your breathing and outlook on life, while increasing strength and flexibility. NO MATTER WHAT YOUR PHYSICAL or EMOTIONAL FLEXIBILITY LEVEL IS!
Erin has recently completed her Master's Degree in Yoga Studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She is still working at LMU on a post-graduate advanced Yoga Therapy Certification.
Yoga is a great way to improve your endurance and strength. Strength comes from a well-rounded mind-body connection which allows for the true soul to emerge. Flexibility, balance, and strength work together. Yoga will help your body relax while stretching, strengthening, and lengthening the muscles giving you the lean yoga body!
Yoga improves digestion, metabolism, and releases endorphins to relieve anxiety.
Yoga also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life to focus on yourself and get clarity. Focusing on your breath during practice is key to staying in tune with your mind and body and finding authenticity.

Kashmir Śaivism (Trika "The Trinity")
The trifold philosophy of Trika Shaivism is based on the three goddess energies that sit on the top of Shivas trident. Para in the center as the supreme energy, the knower, the willingness and unity of the energy. Apara (right) is 'that of which is known', the diversity and re-absorption, Parapara (left) is associated with knowledge, unity and stasis..
The practice of waking the stagnant or inferior energy is to progress toward supreme energy. The ultimate aim of Trika is to make the individual feel one with (god) Shiva.
Progression to the highest energy level leads to creativity, collective consciousness and spiritual liberation.

Throughout history, yoga philosophy and practices have had roots in revolution. Ahimsa (non-harming), Satyāgraha (truth-force), and Anekāntavāda (multiple viewpoints) are all actions we can take to create a different world.
